Privacy policy

What we collect

Two things. If you subscribe to our newsletter we store your email address, the date, and which page you subscribed from. If you click an outbound product link we record the product, the page, the campaign parameters in the link and a coarse device type — desktop, tablet or mobile. We do not store your name, address or payment details, because we never handle a transaction.

Why we collect it

Click data tells us which comparisons are actually useful. Subscriber data is used to send the newsletter and nothing else.

Cookies

We set only the cookies needed to run the site. Amazon may set its own cookies once you follow a link to their site; those are governed by Amazon's privacy notice, not ours.

Your choices

Unsubscribe links appear in every email and take effect immediately. You may request a copy of, or the deletion of, anything we hold about you by writing to us; we respond within 30 days as required under the Australian Privacy Principles.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade the subscriber list.
